The main problem in this study is how is the social criticism contained in the collection of poems Memeluk Ramadhan Bersimbah Wabah by Jumrah, et al and the implementation of the results of the analysis of social criticism in the collection of poetry Memeluk Ramadhan Bersimbah Wabah by Jumrah, et al in learning literature in high school. This study aims to describe social criticism in the collection of poetry Memeluk Ramadhan Bersimbah Wabah by Jumrah, et al and its implementation in literary learning in high school. The data in this study are in the form of poetry quotes that contain elements of social criticism. Data collection was carried out by reading techniques, note-taking techniques, and listening techniques. The data analysis method uses descriptive qualitative methods. The results of this study are 1). Social criticism in the collection of poems Memeluk Ramadhan Bersimbah Wabah by Jumrah, et al, including: (a) social criticism of religious issues is in Nurhayati (Ironinya Negeriku, 89 ), Jumrah (Tentang Sebuah Nama,02), (b) social critique of bureaucratic problems is in Arief Hidayatullah's poem (Negeri surga yang Binasah, 30), (c) social critique of poverty problems is in Agatha Suprihatin's poem ( Indonesiaku Kini, 21), Arief Hidayatullah (Negeri surga yang Binasah, 30), (d) social criticism of moral issues is found in the poetry by Fatahullah Zarkasih (Indonesiaku Kini, 52), Amrilia Sari (Syair Virus Corona, 31). 2). The implementation of research results with literature learning in high school is: a) expected to be able to achieve the objectives of literary learning, namely information, concepts, perspectives and appreciation. b) As a literature teaching material by selecting the teaching material to be applied is poetry. The teaching materials used are in accordance with the high school curriculum with listening learning aspects and the Competency Standard (SK) is to understand poetry reading and its basic competence (KD) is to find values (moral, cultural, social and religious) in the poetry that is read. with a time allocation of 2x45 minutes (RPP attached).
