STRATEGI PENINGKATAN KETERSEDIAAN PANGAN DINAS KETAHANAN PANGAN, PERTANIAN DAN PERIKANAN KABUPATEN LOMBOK UTARA

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the condition of food security, analyze external and internal factors that influence food security, and formulate strategies to improve the condition of food security in North Lombok Regency. This study uses a literature review method, namely by examining various relevant scientific literature to understand the strategy to increase food availability, especially at the Food Security, Agriculture and Fisheries Service of North Lombok Regency. This method was chosen because it allows researchers to develop a conceptual framework and describe the implementation of an overview of the strategy to increase food availability based on existing findings. Based on the study results, the strategy to increase food availability in North Lombok Regency emphasizes the importance of food availability, affordability, independence, sovereignty, quality, and security as primary targets. Efforts include increasing the attractiveness of the agricultural sector through price stabilization and farmer protection, maintaining agricultural land availability through land conversion regulations, and improving the quality of human resources in agriculture. Furthermore, this strategy utilizes technology, strengthens cross-sector collaboration, and addresses internal and external constraints such as limited facilities, climate change, and disease threats. The strategy's success depends heavily on synergy between the government, businesses, and the community, as well as consistent and adaptive policy support to local and national challenges.
