SOSIALISASI MANAJEMEN KESEHATAN SERTA PEMBERIAN OBAT CACING DAN VITAMIN PADA TERNAK DI DESA SAJANG KABUPATEN LOMBOK TIMUR

Abstract

The aim of this service activity is to provide outreach education to the Sajang Village community regarding health management of ruminant and non-ruminant livestock (providing worm medicine and vitamins) in Sajang Village, Sembalun sub-district, East Lombok Regency. This was done considering the lack of public awareness regarding livestock health in the dry season and rainy season, so it is necessary to carry out Community Service regarding "Socialization of health management and giving worm medicine and vitamins to livestock in Sajang Village, Sembalun subdistrict, East Lombok Regency" has been implemented on October 26 2023. Understanding livestock health is very important considering the role of the market as the main need for cattle and goats. The Sajang Village community is a community of livestock farmers, so there is a need for training on livestock health to keep livestock healthy. The specific target is that through mentoring and training, it is hoped that Sajang village will be able to understand the importance of health, especially in increasing appetite and preventing worms. This is done so that livestock grow and develop healthily. The method used to achieve these results is direct training in the process of administering vitamins and treating worms (toxocaraasis). The results of the service carried out ran smoothly and were well received by the people of Sajang Village.
