Abstract

This paper, titled “Human Resource Development Strategies to Improve Hotel Performance,” aims to analyze various effective approaches for developing human resources in the hospitality industry. In today’s increasingly competitive business environment, hotels are required to have competent, professional, and adaptive employees who can respond to technological changes and customer needs.The research method used is a literature study, reviewing ten Indonesian scholarly journals discussing training, motivation, leadership, organizational culture, and compensation as parts of human resource development strategies. The results indicate that continuous training, career development, performance management systems, and participative leadership significantly enhance employee productivity and service quality. Moreover, a positive organizational culture and performance-based rewards play an essential role in improving employee motivation and loyalty.
The study concludes that effective human resource development strategies must be planned, integrated, and sustainable. Enhancing employee competence, leveraging digital technology, and implementing fair compensation systems  are  key  factors  in  achieving  optimal  hotel.
