Abstract

Basic Life Support is an intervention that aims to restore and maintain vital organ functions in victims of cardiac and respiratory arrest. The purpose of this study was to determine the Knowledge Description of Community Basic Life Support (BHD) about Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) in Roi Village, Palibelo District, Bima Regency.The research design in this study used descriptive research with a cross sectional approach. The sample used in this study is the community as many as 100 respondents. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The results showed that out of 100 female respondents, 64 respondents (64.0%), most of the respondents aged 26-35 years were 48 respondents (48.0%), high school education was 47 respondents (47.0%, most of the respondents' knowledge sufficient knowledge of 64 respondents (64.0%). The conclusion in this study is that it is found that most of the respondents' knowledge is in the sufficient category. Therefore knowledge about BHD for ordinary people needs to be improved again.
