KAJIAN DAMPAK PENERAPAN KEBIJAKAN KAWASAN TANPA ROKOK DI UNIVERSITAS MATARAM TAHUN 2022

Abstract

KTR on campus is one part of the West Nusa Tenggara local government policy. The prevalence of smoking in West Nusa Tenggara is 58.4%. This study aims to obtain an overview the implementation of the KTR policy and the factors that influence the implementation of the policy at the University of Mataram in 2022. This type of research is descriptive observational with a cross-sectional design. The research sample includes objects within the faculty and representatives from the rectorate and faculty managers who are selected through total sampling. Data were collected by observation and interviews. Data were analyzed descriptively. Observation results are expressed in percentages. The results of the interviews were stated directly as supporting data from the observations. The implementation of KTR at the University of Mataram did not run optimally. In its implementation, there are several inhibiting and supporting factors. The inhibiting factors are there no written policies and main functions of KTR, lack of socialization, low awareness of the academic community, and no firm sanctions for KTR. Supporting factors are KTR support facilities that already exist throughout and an understanding of smoking-related resources on campus.
