SOSIALISASI POJOK BACA GUNA MENUMBUHKAN MINAT BACA ANAK-ANAK DI DESA SEMBALUN LAWANG

Abstract

Reading is one of the activities and activities that can be used as a medium for someone to expand knowledge. Through activities and a love of reading, a child can absorb various knowledge and be able to explore themselves. However, in reality in the field, reading interest is currently still relatively low and is a problem found in various regions and places on Lombok Island, including for children in Sembalun Lawang Village, East Lombok Regency. Sembalun Lawang Village is an area in Sembalun District that needs to be improved reading interest. Efforts to increase this reading interest require adequate facilities and infrastructure for children in reading activities. Therefore, the procurement and initiation of the provision of a Reading Corner in this community service activity is a bridge to foster children's reading interest in Sembalun Lawang Village. In addition to fostering reading interest, this reading corner program can improve children's linguistic, psychomotor and social abilities.
