Abstract

The training on the development of superior processed products based on local potential is a strategic effort to increase the added value of village products and empower the local community. This study was conducted in Aik Berik Village, Central Lombok Regency, with the aim of enhancing residents’ capacity to process local raw materials into economically valuable, innovative, and competitive products. The method used was participatory practical training, where participants gained knowledge on processing techniques, packaging, and product marketing strategies. The results of the activity showed an improvement in participants’ skills in transforming local products into various superior processed products ready for the market, increasing local economic potential, and fostering community independence and creativity. This training is expected to serve as a model for local resource-based economic development that can be replicated in other villages.
