PERAN KOMISI INFORMASI PROVINSI NTB DALAM PENYELESAIAN SANGKETA INFORMASI PUBLIK DI KOMISI INFORMASI MATARAM

Abstract

This study examines the role of the West Nusa Tenggara Provincial Information Commission in resolving public information disputes. The study aimed to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats faced by the agency. The analysis results were used to formulate the commission's role in resolving public information disputes. The method used was descriptive qualitative, with data obtained through observation, interviews, and literature review. The results indicate that the West Nusa Tenggara Provincial Information Commission plays a crucial role in resolving public information disputes. They are tasked with receiving, examining, and deciding on information disputes through mediation and non-litigation adjudication. Furthermore, the West Nusa Tenggara Information Commission also establishes technical guidelines for standard public information services and ensures the implementation of the Public Information Disclosure Law.
