This research aims to determine the model for resolving land disputes and obstacles in resolving conflicts at Bale Mediation in resolving land disputes outside of court. This type of research is empirical legal research, with the approach methods used being a statutory approach, a conceptual approach and a sociological approach. The results of the research can be concluded that the dispute resolution model at Bale Mediation is closed, private and confidential with the principle of deliberation and consensus. Bale Mediation only handles 2 (two) types of disputes, namely civil disputes and minor crimes which are regulated in Article 29 paragraph (2) of East Lombok Regency Regent Regulation Number 37 of 2019. Settlement of land disputes in Bale Mediation begins with the party making the request. to Bale Mediation which will then be processed starting from appointing a mediator, reviewing the case and then carrying out the mediation process with the parties. The obstacles faced in resolving land disputes at Bale Mediation are parties who are not present in the mediation process, lack of good faith, lack of certified mediators, lack of public understanding in the mediation process.
