This community service activity aims to describe the implementation of digital payment technology based on the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Saba Village, Janapria District, Central Lombok Regency, and to analyze its impact on business development. This activity employs a qualitative descriptive approach combined with a participatory approach, where MSME actors are actively involved in the processes of socialization, training, and mentoring. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and documentation.
The results show that prior to the activity, most MSME actors still relied on cash-based payment systems and had limited digital literacy. After the implementation of the program, there was an increase in understanding and skills in using QRIS, with approximately 60% of MSMEs starting to adopt digital payment systems in their business transactions. The implementation of QRIS has proven to provide positive impacts, including improved transaction efficiency, easier financial record-keeping, and enhanced customer convenience, which potentially increases business revenue, particularly in the culinary sector. The participatory approach applied in this program has also been effective in enhancing participant engagement and overall program success.
However, several challenges remain, such as limited internet connectivity and the need for technological adaptation. Therefore, continuous assistance and support from various stakeholders are necessary to optimize the digital transformation of MSMEs. In conclusion, QRIS can serve as a strategic solution to enhance the competitiveness and financial inclusion of MSMEs at the village level.
