PENGUATAN KESEHATAN IBU DAN EKONOMI LOKAL MELALUI PROGRAM TABUNGAN IBU HAMIL DAN UMKM DI DESA PRINGGA JURANG UTARA

Abstract

The Maternal Savings Program and the MSME Development Program are two community empowerment initiatives implemented in Pringgajurang Utara Village to improve family welfare in terms of health and economic stability. This paper discusses both programs in a sequential and comprehensive manner, covering the background of their implementation, operational mechanisms, benefits experienced by the community, and the challenges encountered. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation. The findings show that the Maternal Savings Program successfully increased financial preparedness among pregnant women and improved their compliance with routine antenatal care. Meanwhile, the MSME Development Program enhanced the skills of local entrepreneurs, expanded market access through digital training, and strengthened the village’s economic growth. Collectively, these programs have contributed significantly to building a healthier, more independent, and economically productive community.
