Abstract

Butterflies are part of the biodiversity that must be preserved. Butterflies provide benefits for human life. Ecologically, butterflies contribute to maintaining ecosystem balance and enriching biodiversity. This study aims to determine the relative abundance (%) and the diversity of butterflies (Lepidoptera) based on differences in butterfly habitat in Suranadi Village Nature Park, Narmada District, West Lombok regency, West Nusa Tenggara Province. The study took place on April 8, 2018, especially in secondary forest habitats. Collection method is done to catch the active butterfly during the day and in the afternoon is the method of cruising by hand netting. The results showed that the butterfly found consisted of 5 families with a total of 30 species and had as many as 212 individuals.
