The spread of Cryptosporidium sp. in Bali cattle calves is quite significant. This study aims to detect Crytopsoridium sp. in the feces of Balinese cattle calves in the collective pen of Perian village, East Lombok Regency. A total of 10 fresh fecal samples were taken by purposive sampling and examined using the modified Ziehl-Neelsen staining method. The results show that Cryptosporidium sp. identified in all samples. Oocysts of Cryptosporidium sp. which was found to have a round morphology with thin walls and absorbed the given MZN dye. More than 10 oocysts were observed in each sample. The high rate of infection with Cryptosporidium sp. caused by poor maintenance management. Apart from that, Bali cattle calves which still do not have a perfect immune system cause Cryptosporidium sp. the easier it is to reproduce in the calf's body. Oocysts of Cryptosporidium sp. spread through waterways. Livestock waste discharged into waterways results in the spread of Cryptosporidium sp. increasingly widespread. Further research needs to be carried out to see the prevalence of Cryptosporidiosis in Bali cattle at large, provide education and treatment to suppress the spread of Cryptosporidium sp infection.
